How Coinstancy protects your account, your crypto assets and the strategies behind your savings.
At Coinstancy, security is built across every layer of the platform: user accounts, wallets, infrastructure, crypto transactions and investment strategies. We combine professional infrastructure, strong authentication, monitored wallets, strict protocol selection and additional coverage for selected DeFi risks.
Powered by trusted infrastructure & partners

Account security
Your Coinstancy account is protected with strong authentication across the platform.
Every sensitive action is secured with MFA, using either a passkey or a 2FA code. This adds an additional protection layer against unauthorized access and helps ensure that only the account owner can validate key actions.
Your account is protected by MFA across the platform, with passkey or 2FA code authentication.
What we put in place
- MFA enabled across the platform
- Passkey or 2FA code authentication
- Identity verification with Sumsub
- Protection on every sensitive action

Wallet and crypto asset security
User wallets are powered by Circle infrastructure, allowing Coinstancy to manage crypto flows through a professional wallet stack.

Strategy and protocol selection
Coinstancy does not select strategies only based on yield.
Before a strategy is used, our team reviews the protocol, its history, its risk profile, its audits, its liquidity and its operational resilience. Strategies are monitored over time and can be reduced, paused or removed if their risk profile changes.
Every strategy goes through internal due diligence before being made available through Coinstancy.
What we put in place
- Review before any integration
- Verification of protocol audits
- Liquidity analysis
- Economic risk analysis
- Continuous monitoring over time
- Ability to reduce or pause a strategy
- No dependency on yield alone
Additional DeFi risk coverage
For selected strategies, Coinstancy adds an external coverage layer through OpenCover.
This coverage is designed to protect against specific DeFi-related events, including protocol smart contract code bugs or errors, and certain economic events outside the intended protocol operation.
Covered economic events may include oracle manipulation or failure, liquidation failure, and governance takeovers where a malicious upgrade is forced through.
OpenCover adds an external protection layer for selected DeFi risks, according to the applicable coverage terms.
What we put in place
- Complementary external coverage layer
- Protection against certain smart contract code bugs or errors
- Protection against certain abnormal economic events
- Oracle manipulation or failure
- Liquidation failure
- Governance takeover with malicious upgrade
- Coverage depends on the applicable terms
